Age 17 months. Marta was born in Lidice to Vaclav and Frantiska Hronik. She lived with her parents and 6 siblings. She was sent with her mother, 3 sisters, and younger brother to the school in Kladno on June 10, 1942 with the other women and children of Lidice. On the same day her father and 2 older brothers were shot at Horak farm in Lidice. On June 13, 1942 she, 2 sisters, and younger brother were separated from their mother and older sister. They were sent to Chelmno and gassed.


This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Marta Hronik who was born in Czech Republic on January 16, 1941 and passed away on July 2, 1942. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
